Its called a surface discharge plug, used by highly tuned 2 strokes as they don't foul (big problem on 2 strokes) BUT they do require the HT system to be tip-top. Any issues with your HT system and you've got a non-starter.

i think dutch was refering to the 2, 3 or 4 electrodes that some have (bosch for instance).
you should have noticed this if you looked at the pictures.
i posted one of them so you could see this.

In the US they have this Bosch Platinum + 4. It is almost the same construction as Bosch Super 4, but with Platinum tips. And also there is another product from Bosch called Bosch Super Plus, uses different type of material.

Gurjit, what is your NGK model that you are using.

Champion Eons (£19.99 for four).
Got sold on the Marketing cack and just thought buy them. Changed them as part of oil (GTX Magnatec) and air filter (Champion version for Factory Air filter box) service and now the car sings. Seems to have a much fatter note from the engine, it revs better from off and seems to free-run much better. Could be just because it badly needed the service after doing 12k miles in ten months.

Now it's funny you should mention this (as I begin to eat my words) as I used to the owner of a very fast two stroke (in the days of my youth) and I seem to recall some shop trying to sell me these ridiculously expensive plugs.

Thought i'd have a look at that web site too.

craig said the e-mail won't work so i might try the phone (while i'm at work of course).
I really need to get my HT system up to scratch anyway as i need a much better spark (will only start on petrol lately so the spark must be crap.)
So i'm interested in these plugs or anything that will give me the best spark possible.
P.S.Tom can you tell me what size SS pipe i would need to get for an induction pipe (i might be able to get my hands on a bit)1.6 16v 1996 Brava
