If you order a set of alloys from a company like Topgear.co.uk or rochfordtyres.com, telling them exactly what car you have and the order goes through, surely you will have some come back and be able to return them..??

I cant understand those wheels not fitting, doesnt Puntobloke have them on his Punto?

His ones are PCD 98, Ian had these ones on a Clio, which are PCD 100

I am tempted to stick with the current ones and get them power coated shadow chrome and lower it 35mm. Whatcha think?

Sounds good to me Thinking about it, even though yours is a Sporting, it probably is best to stick with 15s due to the extra weight of 17s. I love darker alloys aswell.

It's alright bennyboy, think I've gone off the idea of an expensive exhaust system. Was looking at supersprint's site and they say they will only add on 5bhp. For the amount of money they want thats bloody pathetic. My remap which offers at least double that was half the price.

What I want is some sort of wow factor with the car. When I was at Stanny no-one wanted to look at my car cos they thought it was standard. No-one is interested in standard cars. Most people were looking at the customised cinqs, seicento's, and Stilo's. Thats why I thought of getting something non standard that draw some attention like alloys. An exhaust will only draw attention from people walking around the back and to be honest I can get that sort of attention from a backbox costing £50 instead of £200.

Do you see what I am getting at? I'm probably talking a load of **** that you guys won't agree with, if I am just tell me so.

5bhp? you do realise that's about 8% of your cars total output & anyway that's only the backbox if you get a complete system I think you'll see more than that particularly as you have had it remapped & the CDA the supersprint system will only work better. Talk to Nige mate he'll be able to say which is the best to go for.

But again it doesn't have the wow factor. The car is already fast enuff, what I need to concentrate on now is making it look better. Your already going to do an excellent job of colour coding stuff next weekend and for that I am extremely grateful, but I need something else and I don't know what. I will get it lowered 35mm (contacted nigel about it) and I was also thinking about replacing my current skirts with Abarth ones.

Okay decisions have been made. I am getting the abarth front bumper instead. The un-named person will be spraying them for me (he will remain nameless because he gets more than enuff pm's to spray stuff as it is )
