General what oil

hi all need urgent help i bought 2004 multipla 1.9 jtd elx 115 and oil light has come on what oil do i put in it old owner doesnt remember what he put in ie synthetic non synthetic 10w40 or 15w40 dunno what to put in and cant afford service
please help

Depending on your mileage and the JTD engine. Branded Synthetic 5w/40 or Branded Semi-Synthetic 10w/40. 15w/40 Semi generally used in a petrol engine. Do not use super-market cheap oil.

its usually 10-40 semi. Where you live. If its anywhere near me I'll do ya oil and filter change for free as long as you get the parts.
