Hi a newbie here so can't post up pics just yet but an off white tube wrapped in green tape has just fallen out the bottom of my girlfriend's car whilst changing the cooling fan.

Where did it come from?

Are we talking a complete tube, or just one end of it? If just one end, can you see what the other end is connected to? Rubber or solid?

If it's a small tube, it's possibly part of the speed control resistor fitted to the fan.
