Technical What is the best et for 17'' for g.punto

I have wheels 7x17 et 35 , is it ok for Grande Punto 1.3mtj , year 2009 , because i saw on the internet that original ET is 43
Is this ET 35 too much outside?

Wheel fitment guide says 17" wheels on a Grand Punto should have an offset between 38 and 43.

35 offset will slightly move the wheel further towards the wheel arch but i do not think it will cause a problem.

Im more curious why you would want 17" wheels on a 1.3 Mjet, it will slow it down and slow acceleration.

Hopefully gearbox is stronger than the 1.2 Gearbox in them as well.

I have 17" on my 1.3MJT and i have no problems with acceleration, the gearbox is still fine after 3 years and 45.000km.

I have 17" with 215/45/r17 yoko AR1 on my 1.3MJd and i have no problems with acceleration,or the gearbox is still fine after 46.000km. and 1.5 yrs

It's gonna be fine,the wheel will extend 14mm outside.

Original is et43 but is also 6,5" not 7".
