I had no idea so I watched this video;

I see, the term "Swedish designed vauxhall" is quite loaded and implies vauxhall couldn't design it themselves so they farmed it out to people who knew even less than them...and Fiat copied it mistakes and all because they knew even less stillBased on a

The previous one was quite a cool car,
Petrol turbo's or a Ferrari V8![]()
I wish I could drive his Fiat Croma, or his 500 Abarth!Very decent car. Driven by Michael Schumacher no less.
I hated Michael when he was an F1 driver for his antics, but I have watched ever since his accident in the hope that he might recover. He was very special and highly talented. Its an unfitting end. In reality I am convinced he was a very decent human being and I still wish him well.I wish I could drive his Fiat Croma, or his 500 Abarth!
I'm of a similar mindset, i always prefered Damon Hill and know Hill was robbed one year by being rammed. But Schumacher was an icon of the sport, not for me really, but its a lot like if Bobby Charlton, Ian Botham or Jack Nicklaus had been left disabled and unable to serve the sport. A shame but thats life.I hated Michael when he was an F1 driver for his antics, but I have watched ever since his accident in the hope that he might recover. He was very special and highly talented. F1 is far to "high end" for me. Too many "prima donnas" worrying about their self importance and images. I was very happy at Firestone looking after the touring cars and endurance sports cars where, largely speaking, it was all about the cars first of all and everything else came second.I'm of a similar mindset, i always prefered Damon Hill and know Hill was robbed one year by being rammed. Kind of dreadful! I mean, for that the car deserved to get cancelled! The Puntos have lots of little niggles, but nothing that bad.I had one of these and was my worst new Fiat for reliability I've ever had.
Before we get to reliability I was a great and very practical car, verging on an Estate without the drop down rear tail panel.
Bought new in Dec 2006 to replace my Stilo Abarth. Sold, P/X, in Aug. 2015 with over 79,000 miles on the clock.
Items (major) that went wrong / failed:
o Rear suspension geometry issue - Recall but now properly fixed with rears wearing out every 25K to 30K miles. Before recall at 11K miles
o New driveshafts at 33k miles
o Failed clutch pressure plate diaphragm at 45K miles
o Failed alternator at 46K miles
o Failed front O/S wheel bearing at 53K miles
o Failed Denso alternator at 78K miles
All the major parts etc. that failed were all GM parts! Almost like GM off loaded old crap/stock onto Fiat. After i got all these major issues sorted the car really settled down with the Fiat or OEM replacement parts.
I think the Prima Donnas were necessary to make up for the lack of competition in a lot of races, some of them were a procession, start in front and you stay in front.F1 is far to "high end" for me. Always been the problem when you've got vehicles that delve deep into aero. Makes it almost impossible for those behind to get close to the one in front. Stuff like the Australian V8 Super cars is far more exciting and I like the driver's attitude - Well, cobber, it was just a racing incident!Kind of dreadful!
