General What does this mean?

As I was having no joy with any replies on the other thread, I thought I'd start a new one with my question.

I've been out to look at the trip/mileage button and if I press it the only other reading it shows is
--0
It does not change when I press buttons or change when I drive.

Some have a mileage per gallon/litre thingy but as this does not move.....what is it?

Any one shed some light on this please?

Mine cycles through loads of info, but then it is a JTD 100 ELX.

Maybe the SX doesn't have the same spec?

Mmmm, shame....was hoping to have that on there.
I think the mpg on this one is really lousey. I am going to do another check on it on Sunday when I do a long run to Plymouth. The last I checked it was only 29 mpg!!
