I think it's more to do with where we are, rather than the majority of Bravo drivers work in IT. We know how to find forums like this and are of an inclination to add our two-penneth. (I was going to say 'sad enough to post messages' but I wouldn't want to label anyone like that - especially not myself!
)
Basically, people in IT know how to work a PC and don't mind spending hours staring at a cathode ray tube (or LCD screen if you're richer than me!). Either that, or it's that they can use the PCs at work and want to appear busy...
