what can i graft in?

hi guys, ive got a couple of mk2 punto's...one i use an one im thinking of messing about with..
this 3 door 1.2 active is a nice car but the engine is knackered,so.............
what can i graft into the engine bay without too much difficulty.... is there a specific engine you can fit in,...for example,ive had the old vauhall nova with the 2.0 16 valve red top engine grafted in,the 'norm' for this type of car..
is there a 'norm'for the mk2 punto?..

well it depends on what you want/can do.seen the coupe 2l 16v go in to a punto.could be a turbo as well so your talking big power.heard about the 5 cylinder 20v coupe engine going in but it ruins the car as the whole front end needs modded and you loose the lock on the steering.

also from the same forum seems the coupe front seats fit the punto subframes
