What Can I Do With A Ka?
My mum has a Ka, which she's had from new.
I used to drive it fairly regularly, and I liked it. The handling was good, and predictable. Obviously the engine was slow (60 bhp), and I was used to a 220 bhp Coupe at the time. Nonetheless I liked the car.
Then I didn't drive it for quite a while.
Then I drove it a week ago. It rattled, clanged and clonked from all over the place. The engine had a worrying sounding rattle, the rear suspension cloknked badly over even the smallest bump, and all the interior rattled, especially the doors.
It has always been serviced in accordance with the schedule and stuff.
I don't like it any more.

Hey, workable replies!!
I did expect mostly derisory ones, hell- I don't like Kas myself! She- like me- HATES all the pink/Playboy stuff that lassies run about with (has anyone else noticed how many munters seem obsessed with Playboy?) but the idea of stitching the seats seems like a good one. Her folks stuck a decent cd player in it when they bought it, so that is out. Speakers are an option, not sure if they've been improved on- I might have to stick something on very loud in there to see!

my mate put the black leather with blue centre bits seats in from a streetka/sportka.
I told him not to spend more than £200 thats all their worth, unless mint.
So what did he do, spent £640
and BOTH The handles for pulling seats forward were broken, and the steering wheel they sent didn't match, and one of the door cards had EVERY clip broken on it. he got well and truley ripped off, but then he is an idiot.
they make very nice seats, but insurance co reckon their only worth £250, so if it gets nicked/stolen/burn't written off, he gets way less than half the return on just them alone.

Actually it's my mum's, 03 reg 1.3 durawreck. Got it brand new for £4995.. good for well over what you're allowed to drive. Weighs nothing so handles pretty good.
