What Are The Best Performance Mods For a HGT..............

I've been told by numerous parties that induction kits are useless on the bravo, so what mods do you guys recommend, cat bypass, chip, NOS etc etc

Which HGT? The 155 is near enough tuned as fas as it will go so chips do very little.

Decat pipe
Stainless backbox

Thats what i did to mine and it gave me an exelent HP gain ( 25BHP proven on RR too) oh and then add my nitorus on top of that too and its a big gain

I don't think anyone makes a manifold for the HGTs.

You still running stock ECU?

I had all of what Ribzz had in his car fitted in my 1,8 , and it was not tested before, but afterwards it was tested at 114.2 HP an incredible 1.2 HP gain from the claimed 113 standard. The air filter might be getting warm air in which might loose me some HP but still...not even 2 HP gain after all that!!!

I think that Ribzz could easily get another 25BHP out his car if he connected something to get rid of all those hot gases coming out of the cylinder-head and heating up the engine bay.(where the 5th branch of the manifold should be)

He could also add another 400bhp worth of NOS..lol

Warm air over cold air could lose you 10BHP!

It made the difference between mine feelin slow and being fast!

A suggest you get either lots of cold air feeds feeding an induction kit or get one of those kits (like green twister) than only lets in cold air.

I doubt im loosing 10 HP but i migt be loosing something since after tuning the car temp is much hotter, manifold is purple hot, and the air filter is not so far from it...I will try the twister universal later on perhaps, since it seems impossible to me to find where to buy the viper piperX universal...

It has an air feed from the front like yours but not so big
you can see the hose on the left top of the left front lamp...is just hard to see cause is black hehe

will do that and will move the filter to where the base of the original box is ( i think same place where u have yours...) and then put a mega hose from the front Need to keep most of the hot air from the manifold out of there

Sounds like a plan. That manifold will get chuffing hot as its much thinner than the cast lump it replaces.
