Definitely not standard Uno Turbo arches!

That's a German registered Uno (Lubeck registration plate), with the 'Euro' look that is popular over there. I've seen a few German Unos with those kind of arches, so they must be available somewhere. Zimmer perhaps?

It seems to be very popular in Germany to buy really wide rims and then put thin tires on?!?!? why do they do that? surely it detracts performance (I would have thought the tires would roll more) and it looks crap.

Rest of the car looks good.

They look wider than the trims on the Mk1 Turbo, which are really just rust covers.

I'm actually rather interested in the white car behind. I don't recognise that bumper, though the headlights and possibly the grille look like a Mk2 Uno. The single wiper kind-of gives it away. Otherwise I was a bit worried it was a Nova!

Just think how long the owner of the black Uno spends on polishing to keep that paint looking like that... :) It looks great, and the trim on the bumper sets it off nicely.

That is one sweet looking Uno. Gotta love the Euro look  As for the arches its a German kit i've seen it before on a few other unos, Some people even Weld steel arches onto the body of an uno and blend them in with filler to get a similar look...Was planning to go for the exact same look on my uno before i got the hormann kit. As for the white car behind isn't it a Tipo???

Hi
I`ve done a bit of research and am almost sure they are steel mark 1 golf arches welded on to uno panels:slayer:

Well done Serin... you should become a Jeremy Clarkson for that...

I knew it wasn't an Uno because the indicators were the wrong shape. But it IS rather similar to the Mk2 Uno, styling-wise. :)

It's Seat ibiza,
It has the same look as th Tipo, Uno,..... because it was an Italian-designed body and what were called 'System-Porsche' engines, that's why they called it system porsche later,
I raced one b4, and I would keep the results to my self:rolleyes:
