Hi everyone. Just joined the group having bought a blue 2007 Panda 100 with 18k on Thursday ! Thursday night pleased with my purchase and wanting to try it out I picked my Daughter up from the train in Caterham Surrey and traveling along some recent roadworks in the valley smashed the front near side alloy and tyre on what I can only describe as a block of yellow painted iron planted on the road! While changing on to the space saver I cut my leg on the road debris anyway you can imagine my feelings! Next day - Friday I ordered a replacement alloy from the nearest fiat dealer for Saturday delivery and ordered 2 Khumo tyres to go on the front - Saturday wheel failed to come and had to wait until yesterday - Monday to chase - wheel turned up to day but when I hit it home and unpacked it it was wrong colour - bright silver whereas mine look graphite ish - went back to dealer as the part numbers were wrong and he has suggested ordering the chrome option one - question is has anyone got these wheels or know anything about them ie do the chrome wheels look dark ? They are the standard 7 spoke wheels you see on most Panda 100hp cars ? Thanks Martin

I think your problem is that some early 100HPs which were fitted with the Pandamonium pack (an optional styling pack which could be specced from new) had the same style alloys, but in a darker colour. Very much like how the new Fiesta ST comes with darker wheels when its' style pack is specced.

However, I don't think you can buy the darker wheel new any more. I'll check ePER and get back to you.

You'll be pleased to hear, I was wrong. You can get the Pandamonium Pack wheel new From Fiat. It will set you back nearly £400, but that's not news to you if you've already tried buying a normal 100HP wheel, as the price is the same.

The part number you need is: 735488238 which is a Panda 100HP wheel in colour COL-601 "Chromium". It'll set you back £391.43, ouch !

Hi Matt. Many thanks that is really helpful and I will contact the dealer first thing - yes the price is no surprise - so does this forum offer financial help too ? Lol. I hope I will enjoy driving the car when I finally can use it ! Regards Martin

With that part number the dealer should have no trouble ordering you a new wheel. It's pretty gutting how expensive 100HP parts are, it's not just the wheels that are priced like that. Even a replacement spare wheel for the 100HP is about £300!!

I was sorry to hear how unlucky you were on your first journey. Hope this makes you feel better. I collected my new panda 100hp from dealer in Edinburgh, my trusty Hubbie followed me in my Subaru (which is now for sale). While driving home to Cumbernauld I thought I would show them what the panda was made of and demonstrated an emense overtaking manoeuvre! And in doing this I managed to chip the windscreen of my Subaru which ended with me needing a new windscreen as it couldnt be repaired. Go Panda!! ( u owe me £75)

Bad luck there! But I think I'd be finding out who was doing the roadworks and putting a claim in to them as they shouldn't have left anything behind like that.
