Hi all have a injector warning light which comes on every time I turn key to position 2 (red battery light position) for a fixed 4-5 second time period always the same on my ducato 2.8 jtd 2001.
I guess it's one of the sensors giving a funny read but I don't know why always 4-5 seconds before going off and starting and running ok.has anyone had this before cheer mark

Haven't seen a 230 in a long time but in the handbook i believe it will tell you that turning the key to MAR the light should come on and go off after a few seconds thats normal. If it comes on while driving it indicates a problem with injection.

You're other thread said you were having problems this thread says it starts and is running ok

Hi thanks for that ,the warning light used to come on/off after a second just as a standard check but now a fixed five second light would appear to indicate a sensor issue???? .the starting seems better the faster the crank over is so will normally start. The only other thing of note is the immobiliser has a mind of its own normally more problem first thing cheers mark

Sounds like low pressure, if its turning over at 250+ rpm and still taking more than a couple of seconds to start then do a leak off test to check for leaky injector
