Restarting doesnt help. I havent had pics since i got this comp working again, they go after a few seconds each time i go on the net I've just downloaded opera i'll see it that solves it.

Turn pictures on/ off/ cached using the icon in the top left hand corner, second from the left. Cached is generally best option for using the forum

The 'no pictures' scenario is caused by spyware. It happens on mine every so oftem, and I think it comes from this site as it usually happens when I am on this forum, not any of the others, I run a spyware remover, reboot and all is well for a couple of days or so, then it reappears. I think it is leaving something in the registry, but I don't have enough knowledge to go in there.

Try WinPatrol it will clear your system and stop new things being reinstalled, providing you have running in the background from startup.

i pasted up all me reg to the guys on cybertechhelp and they said there was nothing wrong there, i just use opera now its much better than ie when you get used to it, i just use ie for adding pics to ebay as opera dont do that propper.

I've never used Opera, I suppose I should give it a go, but every other time I've tried an alternate browser, I've ended up coming back to IE. Does Opera support IE plugins?

Depends what you mean by plug-ins. It supports Flash, WMP, Acrobat and the like. It doesn't need a google toolbar or pop-up blocker as it has an integral one. It doesn't do the e-bay or smilie toolbar. And as Lora says it's skinnable

I've had major probs with a lot of skinable apps since I changed to XP. Actually that's not strictly true. I've had major problems skinning XP. I used to run Litestep and Windowblinds on Win98, but on XP they make all my Microsoft programs run stupidly slowly.

My version of IE has an integrated popup stopper. What skinning language does Opera use, XML?
