Hi. After a local garage diagnosed the loud clonking coming from my x reg multipla as a worn anti roll bar bush, I replaced it with a "super flex" one as recommended by your members. Fine. A new clonk instantly appeared and on examination I found a lot of play in the lower balljoint. Decided to replace the whole wishbone but on checking the prices on e-bay am left totally confused as to which one to choose. They vary in cost from £29 - £89. How can I tell which is worth the money or can anyone recommend a decent supplier?

hi markiemark i brought the cheap one's two years ago they still ok if that s any help. ps may paid to get the bolt s too as three of my bolts broke off real pain in the a## if you need the car next day (y)

Buypartsby were the cheap source for new (complete) wishbones. There are a couple of threads on the forum about them.

I've just had a look on their website and it looks like the bargain price has gone (they now cost 40-something pounds + VAT+ del. per side). I wish I'd bought some when they were so cheap, even though I don't need any (yet).

Those that did buy the Buypartsby items don't seem to have any cause for complaint so far. I wouldn't be at all surprised if most of these are coming from the same source, with sellers putting a price on that suits them.

It's a lot less grief to replace the whole wishbone than just the ball joint; plus, in the process you replace the two inboard bushes (which are a known weak point in themselves) at the same time.

I'd have a look on the above site, Eurocarparts, Shop4parts and ebay then go with the best value one.

Sorry I can't be of much more help.

Thanks for that guys. I'll definately go for the whole wishbone replacement, but still unsure how much to pay. will try your link. Cheers!:)
