Using IPOD with Blue & Me

I have tried to setup my Ipod Classic without any luck. The Blue & Me women just keeps saying "Building media library, Please wait".

Questions.

1) Can you operate the ipod using the click wheel when its plugged in??
2) If not any ideas on the "Building media library, Please wait". problem.

1) No you cant you have to do it through the steering wheel controls.
2)Try plugging in the iPod before you turn the engine on.
