General usb input..

i'm picking up my bravo tomorrow (57 plate 1.9 mjet active) hopefully. the final inspection revealed a faulty egr which should arrive in time.
anyway, my question is about the usb port. is this a standard item or an option as i never noticed if it was there. if not will it have the mp3 facility instead?

The USB input is for the car equipped with blue&me.

It probably has MP3 function in the stereo. (some old models don't have that though) Check for the MP3 logo near the CD slot.

pretty sure if you didn't get USB/B&ME then you will have a 3.5mm head phone jack in the dash, those models usually came with the MP3 CD doojit swell

Blue and Me was not standard on the active trim cars. I have a 2008 active t-jet and have fitted a 3.5mm jack to the auxiliary input on the back of the stereo. If it says mp3 on the stereo this means it can play mp3 cds not that it has an mp3 socket (i think).
