my question is ,upgrade clutch , is it worth it.
i have a 75sx mild engine mods s/s from manifold back.
i.ve seen ebc kits on the market, but is added expence really
worth it. any feedback would be welcome thanks

TBH....with mild engine mods I should think the most the car is ptuting out is between 85-95bhp. I personally wouldn't say taht was enoguh power to warrant an uprated clutch...but tha's just my opinion.

yes thats what i thought, but i,m surprised no more takes on this.
i really thought there would be more input & some of you guys would
have fitted or know someone else who has fitted an upgraded clutch.
now i,m not talking racing clutches here, the ebc kit does say mild mods.
really what i,m trying to find out, is the extra expence worth it.
there must be some benefit after all they are designed for the 1.2

i was going to get a ebc one when the current one goes. even if it just holds up with more launches then it will probably be worth it, but if your not into that then i wouldent have thought so. id go for one when your current one dies, if your into driving fast.

I was using a standard clutch on a 1.2 spi using lots of mods + nos. Between 100 110 120 depending on what nos jets I used, after around 8000 miles it was cooked.
