Looking for a uno turbo after me and my bro were talking bout them any one na were to get them or if you can get a standerd one and put a turbo in to it
Many thanks
A good one is not cheap plus most that are good are normally kept by there owners because they have to a huge amount of time and effort to get them to a good condition.
Yes you can get a standard Uno and drop a turbo in it. However, you need ALL the parts from a UT to make it work properly - gearbox, driveshafts, suspension, brakes, wiring loom, ecu's etc. It's not a job to be taken lightly and it's not for you if you don't have much experience with mechanics.
Your best bet is to get hold of a Haynes manual and read up about all the parts that a UT uses and that are different to the standard models. You WILL need to know about them as UT's are old cars and need regular maintenance from an enthusiast. If you want one to hammer the throttle all the time without doing any work then you should either have lots of money for a good mechanic or get yourself a Honda Vtec instead.
