General Uno Mk2 Project

by looking at those id be 80% they are mk2 ones but they dont seem to want to fit nicely lol
sorry for the lack of response i got no internet at home only at my dad's lol
but its handy as thats where my uno is kept :)

Just looked at your post here:

https://www.fiatforum.com/uno/86812-uno-mk2-project-13.html?p=1323458

And I'm fairly sure you have mk1 arches. The fronts come down lower at the front edge compared to the mk2 (different bumpers), which is why you are having problems fitting yours. Mk2 arches will go straight on. I'm happy to do a swap for the complete set of mk2 arches I have for your mk1 arches :)

i envy you numero. hp i can get some help from you in making my 5dr mk2 little bit appealing

(y)thanks for the comments on the car guys :D
I still havent got round to doing anything on the uno as ive had to spend omoney on my new bike. When i sell my old one it wil pay for a pair of tyres that i need and and mot lol
more smoothing needs to be done
and deffo more painting with some welding on my sills and arches.

should be done soon

UPDATE:
The Rocker Cover is now red :)
and ive been doing more smoothing on my driver's door ready for the new locking mechanism thats coming from louie :D
im looking for a new boot and front indicators (clear) so it can start moving on.

Stand corrected!

The wheel you have is a factory fit Momo wheel (minus the boss cover) from a mk2 Uno Turbo. It will fit the mk1 and mk2 Unos with the boss kit.

The mk1 Uno Turbo wheel looks totally different - see below:

i meant it was out of a mk1 lol not it was a mk1 one :)
besides it looks sweeeeet now.

Ah yes, just clocked the picture you posted. That is indeed a mk1 interior with a mk2 UT Momo wheel

Still, car's looking good and I'm very intrigued by your wheel arches. As we've discussed, they're not mk1 or mk2 arches but I've no idea what they're from. They kind of remind me of Golf GTi mk2 arches? How are you getting on with fitting them?

EDIT: Cheat! You edited your post and added that mk1 pic after I'd already left a reply! :p

lol i add the pic after realising i forgot to add it, then as soon as i finished the edit it reloaded the thread and you'd posted already lol
and it does say on them, Fiat Uno...so i can only assume they are off a nova lol. only joking

they do fit im just a retard, jamie (grandej) saw them mocked up and they do look great.
only problem is how the hell do i secure them down?

Cheers :)

Lol i nearly fell of my chair when i read that Chas!
They probably are uno turbo arches you havent got side skirts which is why they look too big in the pic?? The arches should already have holes for the screws to secure them in place, i just bonded them onto my uno (before i had a horman kit) with some tiger seal crap they never came off at all

 F R O $ T Y
