Im going to refurb the alloys myself as my dad has done his manier times! going to try to replicate an uno turbo, just need to find some arches, put a red strip around my front and rear bumpers and find some fogs and make a custom bracket
Still need to do my boot and core plug amongst other things!
This photoshop took me about 15mins lol only a quick one,
ive now fitted my 7" TFT in my glove box and its all wired and working, even turns off with the ignition
Hooked up my PS2 to it under the passenger seat too! all the wires are hidden so you wouldn't know its there

nah i dont think i will upgrade my running gear to the turbo stuff, i will keep it as a 1L and then buy another car to work on which i can get a chevette!!
going to get a HS arch kit and some nice big wheels and drop a Omega V6
but i do want those dials, seeing as i broke mine anyway may aswell buy ones from a UT :yum:

going to get a HS arch kit and some nice big wheels and drop a Omega V6

Good luck if you ever do the Chevette HS project, though it's getting very hard to find a decent Chevette shell now. Plus the HS bodykit won't come cheap!
Why not go for the 16valve XE red top engine rather than the Omega V6? The XE is smaller and lighter, plus kind of makes it a modern take on the HSR 16 valve slant four version of the Chevette?
By the way, the Rover V8 engine will go in as well

i wanted the 2L redtop engine from a calibra but my dad wants a v6 in, the chevette i can get apparently is in ok nick...with a little mot left and it runs for £100...only problem is the bottom end knocks but that wont matter when i put a new engine in!
HS arches look nicer then the HSR and they are £250 for the kit, ive done abit of research
