wear those latex gloves then so your hands stay clean:p meh i cant talk about mess inside my dash is half off all my ice hangin out and cables floating everywhere i even have a set of ramps and a new box in the boot;)

I also thought that was an inch too large - mine are 195/45 but 15", and my speedometer is spot-on (tyres very close to wheelarches!)

But thinking about it, I guess the width/offset is more important than the diameter (wheelarches can be modified, the position of the gearbox can't ;))

16" is gonna look SOOOO big on an Uno - can't wait to see :)

lol :D
Not much work to make them fit really, need spacers on the front and the rear has had some mods ;) inside the arch has been modified to fit the wider wheels, and the trailing arm has had sections out of each side and then a flat piece of steel welded back in its place :)

Sheesh, I don't know - you posted on our project thread: "Wish i had the time and dedication you have, oh and the skills would help too" - but just look at your list of mods plus the time that you've put into your project - this thread started in 2006  - your baby looks 'well smart' as they say over there (y) and then...

lol :D

... I rest my case. If those aren't skills, I don't know what are. If I welded the trailing arm, it'd pop apart by the end of the street! :D

Keep us updated on your project, I love reading these threads (Dunc's was the original mega-thread, I decided to do one because I thought mine would only run for a couple of months...)

Gave it a wash first time in about 4/5 months, thought id deserved it at least.

The car is looking nice mate. Do you not have any turbo side skirts to go on? If not I think you should paint that area beneath the door in black where the sideskirt should sit, i'm pretty sure it was black and galvanised on my uno before i fitted a kit to it, would blend in better with the arches and bumpers imo
