General unknown warning light ?

Hi, I have just bought a 2nd hand Marea ELX and there is a small orange light appears on the instrument panel close by the door open warning car.
It is round with small lines around it and what appears to be a short line inside it. It remains on for a short time then goes out.

Any information would be greatly appreciated .

that sounds like the brake fault light

If that is in fact what it is, then relax. It's working correctly by doing a diagnostic on each startup. You only have a problem when it stays on.

Yeah My Car The Lights Come On For A Second But Its Only Serious If It Stays On And Doesnt Go Off.

I think i have it worked out now.

I think its a faulty bulb warning light, I have a wonky bulb on the number plate light and when it dont come on this little amber warning light appears next to the door open warning lights,
