Hey up
I'm having some trouble removing the stock Blaupunkt stereo (attached an image of my model) that came in a '05 Dynamic Punto.
After doing a bit of Googling and reading a few threads on here, I went and bought some ISO standard release keys. They fit into the four holes on the front of the stereo easy enough, but nothing seems to happen when they're inserted.
They are quite rough to get in, but I read someone somewhere saying they can sometimes be like that, and a bit of jiggling and pressure is needed. That doesn't seem to work, and neither does pushing the keys apart is I try and pull them outwards at the same time. I've tried everything with these keys but I just can't get the damn thing out!
I'm a bit worried a previous owner may have broken the release mechanisms or something, whilst trying to put it back in before selling.
Anybody have any suggestions on what I could try next? I really want to avoid potentially damaging it, but I feel like just ripping the thing out at the minute.
Thanks
Adam
