Thanks for looking...

Got a flat, but was planning on replacing all 4 tyres anyway.

Come across the BRIDGESTONE BR RE050A A/S 88V XL on tyreshopper.net for £129 each, fully fitted, and with a free tyre guarantee.

Can someone confirm these are the OE tyres fitted to the GP T-Jet?

Cheapest price i've found so far, although other suggestions are welcome, but need them by this afternoon!!

Thanks,

Matt

Kwik-fit are doing Pirelli P Zero Neros for £118 a corner including fitting. Got a set on the front of my Mjet about a month ago and they were £109 fitted then.

Edit: That is the online price though so if you are in a rush it may not be an option.

The Bridgestone RE050A is the OE tyre, well is for the Mjet and I imagine the same for Tjet.

However I don’t recall the A/S – Which is all season, and also the XL – Which might indicate a stiffer sidewall for heavier cars or possibly a runflat.

The All Season may be ideal for the weather we get.

Think this is the tyre: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m54b0s457p13095

they were the originals on my m/jet.

the nero's are just as good as the bridgestones in my opinion, and you can get just as good tyres for less...

e.g toyoT1R's and uniroyal rainsports for example....

If you're staying with Bridgestone - check a FirstStop (Bridgestone) outlet for a price comparison. Let us know what you're quoted.

Cheers all,

I have looked at the Toyo's, very tempted by them. Will also look into the Pirelli's.

Thanks again,

Matt

Kumho KU31's is what I have bought. Superb tyre for the money and highly recommended over on CorsaSport.co.uk. Cost me £150 fitted for 2 corners!

I agree. I've tried Potenzas, P Zero Nero, Falkens, and Kumhos. Overall, the P Zero Nero were the best, followed closely by the Kumhos. Kumhos offer good roadholding in the dry, less so in the wet but they are not dangerous in any way. Hopeless in the snow though... They do last long, they are £60 per tyre in Swansea (Harris Brothers in Fforestfach), very quiet on the motorway, make the car ride smoothly (unlike Falkens) overall, very pleased with them.
