just asking as ive been looking at tyres and there is hardly any 195/40/16s as its an odd size and they are very expensive.

so i was just wondering, could i get away with 195/45/16s? or will this cause alot more problems when it comes to fitting them? i know its going to be a tight squeeze getting them on anyway, but there are alot more 195/45/16s avalible than 195/40/16s and they are alot cheaper too!!

i've had my arches trimmed right back so theres NO lip what so ever and i've had my body kit trimmed too!

ahhhhhh, i need help as i wanna get my tyres ordered!!!

Dunc

there will be a 61.26mm circumference difference between the 2 sizes

i have no idea what this figure means, hopefully it will help

how tight will it be with the 40 profile, the rears wont give you too much hassle if the wheels are tucked up into the arches, as you have got no lip

the fronts will be a prob if they tight and its catching when you turning

please ignore me if im talking crap

would 185/50 be of any use to you
