Hi all,
I'm looking to race my punto in class 1 (Standard car, less than 1600cc Class)
And one of the requirements are that i used tyres of type 1a
Does anyone know what these are?

I Haven't got the blue book yet, I've only just applied for the national B licence. I'm expecting to get a copy with the licence. I will have a look if it comes(y)

I might have to do further checks for the tyres that i have on my car as they are not listed. But from what i see these are all Road tyres(y)

thanks for the link.

I plan on going to a driver school during the summer, but for now this licence allows me to take part in some sprint races. A little unsure about using my car that i drive daily. I'll need to check insurance etc well in advance of signing up for my first event(y)

One can purchase all sorts of motorsport insurance cover. e.g. http://www.ryanmi.com/

If you are taking part in an RACMSA approved event then the RACMSA will have Legal Liability Insurance for itself, the RACMSA Registered Cub organising the event, their officals then entrant and driver, the land owner or any Government or Local Authority.

Full details will be in you Blue Book when it arrives. Your should read the full details and decide if you want/need to take any extra additional personal liability insurance.

What I'm thinking here is cover for proven neglignece on your part.
