Hi could any one tell me what the tyre pressures are for 500x sport with 225/40 zr19 93y tyres on please

Check your handbook.

Your 225/40 R19 tyres appear to be non standard on earlier 500X model (2015/2016)

For 225 / 45 R18 then it is 2.4 bar front and rear for normal load and 2.6 bar front and back for full load.

For your 225/40 R19 tyres if you don't have a handbook figure then 2.5 and 2.8 bar would be my guess. Slightly higher due to the lower profile. The higher pressure will help protect the rims on big potholes.

Hi it a 2019 model
I've just download the 500X March 2019 Owner's Manual and 19 inch rims are not listed. Likewise for 2022/23 models.

However in the Oct 2019 manual I found:

Check you actually have XL Runflat tyres in which case it is the normal 2.4 and 2.6 pressures

That's the standard for the Sport with 19" wheels, I run mine on 2.4 Bar, or 35 PSI

They're defiantly not run flats

Had a new tyre fitted a few weeks ago (Be prepared to pay nearly £200 each!!) and he said 2.4 Bar or 35 PSI
