General  tyre pressure

General  tyre pressure

Reviving an old thread I know, but I'm taking quite a long journey this afternoon straight from work and want to check my tyres before I leave the area, but I haven't got the manual with me - its back home.

Can anyone with the manual to hand let me know the tyre pressures for both front and rear, for both normal and speed/loaded driving, for the Grande Punto 1.4 T-Jet Sporting please? And can you let me know in the next hour or so? Might be a lot to ask, but thought I'd at least try. Thanks in advance!

Forgot to add, I found this site:

http://www.thetyrepressuremonitor.com/locate.asp?action=tire_pressure&maker=Fiat&car_model=3857

But those figures seem a little high to me. Can anyone confirm the figures from the manual please? Thanks!

Crikey mine are up at 45psi front 40 back, thats what it says in the book thou?

Is that a question or a statement? Does it say 45/40psi for front/rear in the book then? Is that for normal, or loaded/speed driving?

35 front 34 rear when i read the manual it said 35 for roughly you and someone else

but your right when i got them they were up at 40 odd i didnt have to pump them for for 4months? dealership trying to kill my tread when i asked about the price of a new tyre she said 110 each i almost fell off my chair i thought the servicing was bad enough.

When you do as many motorway miles as me, it saves a great deal.

Not many tight corners on the A1 ;)

hope the money you save goes on more tyres because you will need them because your tyres will last all of 5 mins and end up like this -
