Twweters? where is the best position?

Hi All

Getting close to the nice parts of my HGT rebuild! the interior!!!

But i need to know where would be the best place for them?

My short list is in the origonal factoryt place or at the top fo the door, by the mirrors?

What would you lot recommend?

I ashume stock place is best?

In my experience the best sound angle is when the tweeters are pointing at you. Factory place is ok but not really the best. Possibly in the pillars or near the mirror would be ideal for sound clarity.

thats what i though, but ashumed that fiat would have put them in the best place from factory???

I will make my own custom housing then!

My girlfriends Nissan Mirca has them in the forward pillars between the windshield and door. Alot better place than the bravo.

Fiat ain't really too clued up on the sound acoustics otherwise they have upgrades or options to upgrade to JBL speakers or something and instead of Grundig Stereo's they'd fit Kenwood Stereo's etc like the Lexus's do.

Fiat design cars and just stick a radio in to pass the time by when driving, i doubt there was much thought in the Bravo's acoustics and sound system.

Base of the a-pillars facing across the dash, not pointing at you

My dad's Harmaan Kardon System in his discovery has the tweeters mounted quarter of the way up from the bottom of the A pillar facing towards you. Very very good soundstaging I thought, much better than mine in my bravo and I have custom brackets bringing my infinity tweeters higher to the surface and slightly tilted towards me

as you know mate i recently moved mine and the sound quality greatly improved, i think the a pillar is proabibly the best option, but the stock place isnt great so anywhere other then that i suppose
