Just thought you guys would be interesting in this, as I couldn't find a resolution to a number of similar posts on this one.
I have an early 2014 85bhp TwinAir, has been fine generally. Did some fast motorway travelling back from Valencia on Saturday evening and the car started to misfire and judder under acceleration around the 3500 to 4000rpm range.
Didn't happen at all in eco mode, just hard load, acceleration in normal mode.
Car is currently at 24500miles and was serviced at 20000miles ish at a Fiat Specialist.
I keep some basic spares on hand, so on Sunday the spark plugs were changed... the only difference this made (which was strange) was the misfire moved slightly down the rev range to 3000-3500rpm.
I had one new coil pack on hand so this was tried in each cylinder and the fault seems to be on the coil pack in cylinder 1.
Coil pack now replaced and the car seems fine... I will give it an oil change this week as generally this engine has seen them every 6000miles

Coils were a known issue on early ta's but have long been sorted, I guess you got one that slipped through the net, mine is also early 2014 and is fine at 30k, might be worth changing the other one too as a precaution

Well had the car since new and not had an issue with misfiring on this car before. I have three on order from Shop4parts. The local dealer here in Gandia, don't hold such items on the shelf and the 1.2 is the dominant model here. I generally keep enough spares to get by.
