General Twin Sunroof panda on Eastenders

Well Ivor went in for his MOT today and unfortunately he failed

BUT it wasn't that bad :D

Failed on, one rear brake pipe corroded, one handbrake linkage siezed  never felt it? (bleeding typical that I've got a brand new cable spare) one horn f**ked £5 new and bought a couple of new wiper blades anyway just in case.

I don't have the time so told him just to get on with it so will be passed by tomorrow :woot:

So have two panda's passed fit for Istanbul :)

I've been having nightmares trying to get online since I posted, anyway.....here's tonights news article....

Alan, that looks great. Few questions though...

What's it off? A Cinq Soleil? How does it affect rigidity, as the big supporting bar across the middle has gone. Electric?

It's a Britax after market roof, suppose they fitted it to put the christmas tree through, the first few inches of the B piller is there you can just see it, but as the A & C pillar is still intact it feels pretty strong. The edge of the roof is strengthen'd by a sandwich of metal all round the gap.

I've had it since December Steven so you got a few months to catch up plus you got yours at £160 cheaper

Ivor is off down to Millom tonight to get his finishing touches bodywork wise, front wings etc even managed to sell a couple of raffle tickets there (y)

On the way back in Willie at Muncaster Bridge a renault had gone into the bridge wall and wasn't moveable as a result, he couldn't get a signal on his phone as it's the middle of nowhere and no one had stopped to help. Anyway managed to call in some assistance and got him sorted, whist waiting got on the subject of the Istanbul trip and he promised to sponsor us, the things you do to get a bit of sponsorship :D

I'll get pics of Ivor when he's sorted.

I will do, once he's back he's going to County Motors in Carlisle for the sponsored stickers to be fitted, he's then being passed to the Chief Pilot of the Air Ambulance (apparently one of the best pilots in the country) Jim Martin who will then look after him and take him to all of the Air Ambulance functions for additional publicity and fund raising, along with a book of raffle tickets.

oh! forgot to mention just as I drove him into the body workshop the exhaust went :( so that will be replaced on Monday to match his brand new goodyear GT2 tyres.

The bodywork lad Vinnie also only wants the paint cost covered and is doing the labour for free for the cause.

Just watched the 5th Oct episode thanks to Stuart Demon.

Ian Bealle slaps the panel where i put the EastEnders sticker shouting shop.

I'm sure i saw much more footage from an earlier or later episode so the search continues but at least the car now has documentary provinance.
