he car looks great, with all the trimmings... and an interior you can hear across the carpark.

as for messing with the engine it would bea shame to mess up a perfectly happy motor to get a few more horses out of it... and i doubt Alan would be very keen to touch it...

As a selecta owner I can say that they are really good when they are good(y) , but it's so easy to find bad ones... which kind of sour the whole experience.

OK I can confirm that the roof is aftermarket & it looks as if the original lining was used & cut to shape so maybe able to do simmilar but a lot of work may be involved

Changed the wheel trims, binned the ones that were on. Gave it a good wash as I also did with Willie and it looks a little better but a t-cut is desperately needed. there's also a little dink on the rear n/s and the front grille area as it's in slightly. Having looked inside there are still loads of pine needles so hasn't been hovered since the ad in 2004  The rear parcel shelf is also in the bin so need to find another.

Anyway Ivor & Willie are now taking the time to become mates. Although I think Willie is eyeing up that roof rack :)

BTW it's a quick little mother

Willie's bumper will be going on later today hopefully and he'll look normal again.

Excellent job Alan. Looks like it turned out better than you were hoping. I was thinking about you yesterday when I seen the weather reports and was tempted to phone you a couple of times but was afraid of putting you off your concentration, so glad you all got home safely. (y)

Wasn't too bad, had ice forming on the arial as we were driving through one patch  but again Willie did us proud and it was a good trip. Near home I was just wanting to get there, on a straight bit of empty road there was a Siento in front, he must of thought "what the f**K" as i went passed

Now to get this thread back up to respectable family viewing....
