Had my 1.9 mjet with TMC tuning box on a rolling road a couple of days ago, happy with the results - I think lol. Run 1 is with the box, seems quite good as the box is only on '2'. Not too sure what much of it means though as I dont get why on run 3 (without the box) the bhp is not 130 at the engine or wheels. The car is ran on v-power all the time. If someone could shed some light on that, I'd be grateful.

On the plus side of the whole thing though I found that my diesel barely smokes! :)

its rare to get a fiat with the standard power matching the book figures, they are nearly always over

Is that based on the results from RedDot's rollers?

Have there been many dyno printouts from other sources to confirm this?

(Genuine questions by the way) :)

all of them, its same with a lot of models of cars you not noticed it? there is one make that always comes out spot on but i cant remember what one that is, i'll ask the one that remembers all on friday

Haven't had any Fiats to test. :(

We were within minutes of testing a 500 TwinAir Demo before my former employers rang the Salesman involved and expressly told him not to dare doing it. Spoilsports.

The Mitsubishi Evo's make factory numbers, even the FQ models, but Scoobies tend to be a little shy of the stated numbers.

I did find this site a while back which seem to dyno standard cars for reference- http://www.rri.se/index.php?DN=29&List=C-L

if i put 110kw into an online converter i get 147.51240445 bhp not 150 bhp i lost 2.5 bhp of power with out leaving the house :( ( that site converted it to 148)

Fiats figures are always quoted in kw, being European, especially in eLearn.

It's the Marketing Dept. that rounds it up for the public. ;)

Not too bad for a box like. Probably better than some maps.

Quite impressive for a box, the only thing i would say is the torque is a little low but your gearbox will be thankful of that.

Dave converting KW to BHP is easy just multiply by 1.355 its as near as be damned, so 130kw is approx 176BHP. The figures on your graph are superb so are the graphs, perfectly linear, the car should feel very smooth to drive. This is the same box you have Dave :) Did you get the Croma running better?

As Dave said every Fiat I've ever dyno'd made over its standard quoted figures. You also may have a slight residual effect after the box has been removed it takes the ECU a few miles to fully return to standard.

Thanks for the comments. I have only got a Pipercross replacement panel filter added (cant imagin that adds any gains in the slightest), although I service it regularly. The car runs so much more smoother with the box on, also v-power has noticable improvements on economy with it on.

I had it rr'd at XO power at Cramlington near Newcastle. I live within 10mins of it and didnt know it exsisted lol. They offer live stage 2 remap - I am looking at getting an uprated intercooler. Are there other options to a forge intercooler? I do want one but I like to keep my options open :)

I still have some eibach pro-kit springs to put on (had them in the garage for about 2month), havent had 2 seconds to myself this summer lol. Cant wait to take it to the twisties near the Scottish border at Kielder again with them on. Also need to find a GPS version of powerflex bushings - made a massive difference in a mates Golf. Got so many plans!
