Technical Tire Sizes - Stock Cinq Wheels

Guys/Gals, my MOT is in the next few weeks, and my rear tires on my Cinq are different sizes. one is a 135 and the other a 145, so therefore it would fail its MOT.

Both front wheels are 135 so I assume these are the correct ones it should have on.

I have been to the scrappys to get a 135 wheel and all the Cinqs tires I keep seeing are 145's. Does anyone know why they are different, are new models on 145's. My Cinq is a L 1994.

Where abouts in the world are you rick?

I have got several stock cinq wheels and tyres in the shed. I think 135s were standard, but in the 11 years since your car was built it will have had a few changes of tyre.

Just remember if you get one 145 and put it as a pair, probably on the front, then MOT pass. You can have different sizes front to rear, just not side to side.

Yep thats a little far, thanks anyhow!

I may try getting another 145 for the back and then keep the 135 as a spare.

If anyone is in the MAnchester area and has a spare Cinq stock wheel 135/145 tire they don't want let me know.
