Technical Tipo Spanner symbol

Hi. Servicing warning light (Spanner)on the Tipo 1.4 Easy. I see from a past thread that this has come up before but couldn't find an answer. I have this problem as well. My car is ex mobility and this problem wasn't turned off when I bought it (i'm not on mobility). Mileage is now 46200 and now the light has come on. Anyway, how do I get it turned off?

You probably need to use a diagnostic system such as multiecuscan to do it

You can do it yourself,I can't find the link I used,but Google/YouTube will be your answer, it's something like ignition on,press accelerator to the floor,press the brake 3 times and then turn off and then start the car.

These procedures often work on some cars..not others.. as it depends on the kit on board and ECU spec

I will try and find that link..

I was sceptical about it working,but it worked on my 17 plate 1.4T
