General Tipo 1.0 Firefy

Can anyone with the Tipo 1.0 Firefly engine and 5 speed gearbox tell me what it is like at motorway speeds - how many revs in 5th at 70mph for example? Thanks.

3000 or so at 70. I like mine, it pulls well and it will accelerate from 70 quite well.
And this is replacing a 3.2litre 24valve Mercedes coupe as my daily car after ten years.
it’s pretty good on fuel too- I’m averaging about 48 using esso e5.

Good to see another Mediterranean Blue one! Much prefer this blue to the Oceano blue of my new one.
