Not so bad, black on black, but some of the other colors etc are crap. I saw a VW the other day, green with green-tint lenses - just plain ugly.

And although at night you can still clearly see the lights behind the tint, I reckon that it's in the daylight that you will lose clarity.

[xx(] NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT TIGHTS. when people realise what they are you'll NEVER live it down. A bloke who lives across the road from me did it a couple of years ago and he's still the laughing stock. When he gets any mod now everybody gives it a good looking over and criticizes [xx(]
Best thing is to do it properly or dont do it at all. :)

I haven't had a bad experience mate, I just think the car would look better with standard lights!

If you must, you must, as long as it's not those silllllyyyy 3d lights.

Digimods;

(this is a completely non-critical post so please don't take it the wrong way!) I find it so interesting/funny that considering what you do on your site etc. how much you dislike most mods!

May I ask why you seem to be in two completely different worlds when it comes to this? Or am i misunderstanding completely.

No digimods was right!!! I shudnt have even tried to do it. the lights on the mk2 aren't flat and when the stuff is sprayed on it collects in the cracks and looks absolutly crap. Ive wasted 25 quid - 15 for the spray and a tenner for the remover [xx(] but im sure it would look good if it can be done properly.
So im savin for lexus style lights now[8D]

How right you are!!

I know I sound really really two faced in a way. As for the cars I do.. its more of a "look what I can do" rather than my taste!

wolfrace; no to lexus lights!! They go on lexuss, please no!

Digimods; I completely understand what you mean, how you want to use your skills rather than "i want this car", not two faced IMO, just interested as to why you were like that :)

I too dont understand why people want lexus style lights either they are for lexus and lexus cars only, IMO they look stupid on anything but a lexus. In my area i have lost count with the number of corsas and saxoz with lexus style lights, even BMWs now have some sort of lexus style lights. They are for lexus and should stay on a lexus!

well.......i dunno wat else i can do with them. I dont like the red/orange coz it doesnt match nethin on the car, dont like the 3d style or the afterburner things and ive tried tinting and it didnt work!!!! oh and i hate those stupid stick on masks.
I like the clear lenses on the lexus style, i think it wud look well on black.
If anyones got any other suggestions.....lol;)
