Ticking noise from fan

Basically there is a small ticking noise whenever I turn my fan on, the noise can be heard from all settings on the fan and it sounds like it's coming from the passenger footwell or behind the glove-box, any ideas? Thanks, Gary

could be just a leaf trapped.

I had the same problem last year..the heater motor was on the way out, I got one from a breakers yard..problem solved
