Those poor police. Seems they'll actually have to stop relying on cameras to catch this chappie. I dont advocate speeding, but i dont think 'Animal' from the muppets deserves the ticket and i dont really want the actual driver to get it either

Funny, look at that picture closely and you can see someones obscured the drivers face with a bit of a photoshop swirl. Therefore the face probably was recognisable. If you get flashed in Europe, you now have a high chance the ticket will arrive in the post. Joys of joining the EU.

Anyway i think that picture is fake.

Definately 'shopped'. There is also another swirl on the side of the car to hide something. In addition, the story states an Audi TT. Thats an A4 Avant isn't it?

Actually, i took the original story from an online german newspaper. But googled and found that version in english.

There was an explanation for the swirls, but i couldn't understand it. I think it was to do with protecting passengers identities. Also, the swirl on the side was added later. Maybe the car has an ad on it, and the german police ont want to create a viral ad out of someones aparently dangerous driving?
That was not the original photo i saw on the german newspaper article either, but just as funny
