thorpe Park Vs Chessington world of adventure....

right need some help, poss you southern lot can help me

I have booked Friday 29th off work and want to go to a theme Park, been to Alton Towers Loads of times and dont mid travelling a bit to get there, the only ones i can think of are these.

Been Blackpool loads of times, also Light water valley etc but not been to any of the ones down sarf.

which of these two are better IYO or are there any better ones you can think of?

had a look at both websites and they dont really tell me that much.

THORPE PARK!!!!!

It has much better rides, it has that 10 looper and a rollercoaster like nemisis and one in the dark. Has that log flume called tidal wave which you get absolutley drenged on, the denator which is like the sony playstation thats at black pool and the vortex, and the new samuri theres loads there much better than chessington.

Ive been to both loads of time and i can safely say thorpe park is better than chessington

Your making me want to go now!

Chessington is for weee kids.. ur more likey to **** yourself with fear n laughter at Thorpe Park.

Yeah ive heard drayton manors meant to be quite good now

Would agree Thorpe park is better than Chessington, soley for the 10 loop roller coaster also theres less chance of your car getting trashed by some chav at Thorpe park.

am going with mark, and he went to drayton Manner with his GF last year - you just want me to go to Rhyl so i can pick you up so you can come too

I went American Adventure when i was about 8, I didn't find it very entertaining, what they got there now?

Drayton manor me lil brother went to not so long ago but he said it was a wee bit pants I've never been to either recently so I cant judge but what I can say is that in my honest opinion,

even Thorpe Park kicks Alton Towers Bum Cheeks

chessingtons got ramises revenge which is just like the rip saw at alton towers but slower.

the samuri, which they have at thorpe park as well.

the vampire ride, which is the best roller coaster there and its ****e

Chessington used to be good when I was in Year 8.. means I was bout 12 or 13. but I heard they haven't changed much since then and most the rides have been converted.

They got Vampire Ride (A weak Rollarcoaster)
Ramasis Revenge (will wpin u upside the head and get you very wet)
Log Rides
Samari I think.

and the rest are a bit kiddy.

The Professor Bubble works was class when u went in as a group. like a relaxed ride through fountians and stuff, you wernt meant to get wet but when you catch up to another round boat in front you natrually had a water fight with em. but they banned groups of teenagers and you have to go on with Kids I hear.

Chessington is more a family place now.

hmm revise for exam or eat so much sugary goodness i throw up :yuck: - gutted exam wins - 30th is brooklands, there bound to be theme park on way down to there, how bout combining the two

EDIT - yep it shut at 10 , but i was there for 9.30

oh does anyone remember frontere land in morcombe that was well cool when i was a kid but when i went two years ago it had been knocked down - i was well gutted

My Grandparents used to live right near it.....it was ace!!!!! (was means about 10 years ago )
