infact. if the point that kaylea brought up about steve was out of order, can i just make a point.

steve, is a member of admin and is hardly on here at present.
would that not be seen as not contributing to the site? just as i seemingly wasn't?
 
Also its sad that kaylea was happy with what i said last night, then i come on here today to see it all thrown back in my face.
 
erm no hold on !! i said i was happy with it u will see who started this thread was martin so it is martin that would be unhappy i just agreed with u last night to get u off my case kinda like martyn done with me ''bugging him''

as for not contributing- can you give me some of the facts that you's had to come to this conclusion, please?

No, Mikey left because we didnt re-add him to admin after the hack within a certain amount of time (2 hours I made it) and he phone up, went nuts, told me to forget re-adding him and then I had Helen on PM, preaching about how selfish I am, how grateful I should be to them for saving the site, etc etc etc...3 hours after I was more or less accused of destroying the site myself (gawd, my arabic that day was top notch wasn't it! :roll :) He then posted here, and 'officially' resigned. I'd love to know who accused him of doing a **** job...this is the first time I've ever referred to it. And it'll be the last too.

With regards to contributing enough/not contributing enough it'd be very easy to start pointing fingers. On a 'good' day Im sat here for maybe 4 hours or so getting things done, posting etc. Anyone who does less could effectively qualify as 'not contributing enough' - but it's nae strictly speaking true....I'm not going to enter into that argument though, at the end of the day (hippy speech) everyone's contributions have made this place what it is. Irrespective of how much/little anyone feels has been put in. Yes, I maybe shouldnt have readded you, knowing what I know now - but I did, and there's not a lot I can do now.

i believe i can remember correctly it was mikey himself who said that in his goodbye thread if i am wrong then accept my apology but i am certain that i am not wrong

Fair nuff, to be honest I had a read of it then just let it lie. I wasn't sure if you meant he'd said it or if someone else had or what.

hey you got my name right without any clues! how clever!

Seems as simple as this, martyn does not need as many mods to run the site so had not given you the priviladges you once had for some reason or the other, not being on the forum regularly enough maybe being one, but why should it bother you so much? surley its not life or death as to wether your a mod or just a normal user?!?!

i asked you to answer questions for me and to give me some facts as to what made you's come to the conclusion that i wasn't contributing enough. so far, you have failed. not very good admin decision making on your behalf is it now? instead, you decide to hide behind things like saying "no-one really cares, deal with it" without coming out with any answers.

as for steve, it just goes to show that there is a clique on here, because if that had been me i would have been shunted long ago. if you've not got the time to do the job, don't accept it. simple.

from an outside looking in this doesn't look good and promote the site at all does it.

Whitey - I'm sorry you have been removed as a mod just in all honest I haven't seen many post from youself. If there was a space for a mod (which from what I can understand there isn't) then it would be better given to someone how post regularly and monitors the site.

If there was a space for a mod myself I would have chosen Kaylz or Gately,

Kaylz cause it's like a second home to her and Gately because of the great work he did on the How-tos.

Lets just stop the bickering now PLEASE!
