Thinking of gtting new wheels!

I want to get some BK racing 299's 18" by 7.5". What colour should I go for? There are 4 colours available, normal silver, gold with polished lip, high power black or chrome. The colour of my car is bordeaux old rose( dark metallic burgundy)

I would say go black and then get the rim diamond cut

Would look the dogs

Dont think chrome would suit and neither would gold. Then again i very rarely think gold rims suit any car. and im not a fan of chrome.

Hi Ben.

The high power black basically look like a toned down chrome, they have a really nice subtle finish to them and the studs are like a brassy gold colour on them which really contrasts nicely against the finish. These were the wheels i was first gonna get on mine and they are stunning mate

It's pretty much the same look that i'm after for mine but i want to get something with a slightly more prominent Spoke design. I have my eyes on a few and the ones i really really like are gonna cost me £2,500 with tyres so i may have to look at something a little less financially damaging

I think the Gold ones would look really smart on your colour car Ben, you don't see them very often and when you do they always look cool, especially on darker colours like yours.

Deffinately don't go with the chrome in the BK's as the finish looks horrible and cheap IMO.. they just have a kind of plastic look to them and are a little bit OTT for your colour.

I know you really want the Gold ones mate, so IMO go for it, they will look excellent

I'm not a fan of gold wheels, in fact i'm not a fan of gold anything! (Looks tacky IMHO) I'd go for the black finish, or possibly chrome.

I'd go for the high power black, i fink they would look rather good with your colour! I do like the wheel design; but i wouldnt personally get them as the look like they will be a B**turd to clean! And plus if you get the high power black they wont show the dirt as much!

Thanks for the replies chaps. I do like the gold because I think it would go really well with the colour, It's quite a mild gold as well, not that bright, especially when the cars had a good wash & wax There's a gold fleck in the paint which really shows up. I am quite tempted by the high power black though as it looks similar to the shadow chrome wheels I already have. Chrome is definately out of the question, to blingy & would be a nightmare to keep clean & I think plain silver is boring & wouldn't really suit the colour of the car.

The High power black ones may not be the exact colour because i had to turn the gold ones into them but it's a pretty close example of them. I stick by my choice of Gold even more so now Brings out the colour of your car really nicely.
