Morning All,

I have a bit of a problem and know one of you guys will be able to help.

Apprently my thermostat is always open, so it takes FOREVER to get warm air in the car, and with the weather like this its Freezing. Mate told me that if it is alway open then the water is always going round the rad so takes ages to get hot.

Does anyone know how easy a fix this is and a poss Price on new Thermostat. Sorry its a 1998 Bravo HLX

Cheers

Ok I will have a look tonight, did you have to bled the systme or anything like that? Also how much and were you get your new thermo from?

Steven

i did bleed the system afterwards was not sure if i should have done but the heater is working now anyway

sorted then shaz,cool :)

steven, when you put the new therno in you will probably have a bit of air in,Fill car up and run engine till half way way(running temp) then open the bleed points till water comes out..

or follow up on shaz's threads about how she bleeded it ;)
