can be both, some times forms will say "if you are currently not working what is your normal or last occupation".
Quick question... If I have a driving licence which doesnt have C1 on it, can I be the named owner of a C1 vehicle? ie my name on the V5.
Yes, however insurance company would need to know main driver isn't the registered keeper.

Our fire engines have to be ready to go in a certain time right. .
So what do they do about air breaks?
I know with working on and around wagons, air build up time can be nearly 5mins, do they just sit there? Or do they just hope there's no air leaks and hope there's enough in the tanks to bring the brakes off?

I presume there will be an external compressor keeping the reservoir topped up while the vehicle is in the bay. While they're out on a shout the engine needs to be kept running anyway to power the water pumps so that'd keep the on board compressor running. You could always pop down to your local station and ask though

on the way into asda there is a foodbank box, next to it is food on special offer, if someone takes the offer food and puts it into the foodbank box is it still shoplifting? the food bank box dont say you have to pay for the food first and you havent left the shop with any unpaid food :chin:
Asked sister this, as she's had training in the service, been in Fire Cadets also.
She's said that while sitting in the station they're connected to the building with a power supply. From what I deduce, its either an electric compressor on the appliance keeping constant air pressure as required, or an external airline connected at the same time as the electrics.

After 15th day I believe, but not sure if it's changed, or changing with all of the other RFL changes that are going on.
Was sure I'd done it before the 15th last year, however I normally just buy it online so probably a different system as obviously I had my reminder. New cars always a faff! At least I've saved 40 quid a year on my tax bill by up sizing to a car with worse real world fuel economy...who says the tax system is broken?
