4 screws bottom of pic at a guess

slit it off be lazy

I want to sell it, loads of it sticks through the floor, its still not out I've duck oiled the other end of them bolts and 2 wing nuts that are on the bottom holding on a plastic flue vent thing.

now i am wondering what this pole is i thought it was a flue for water heater but its not, it has a square plate welded to the bottom and just screws onto the roof with 4 screws, the top of it screws off, is it an aerial mast?

Got a letter from mazda aftersales informing me my car is currently registered on the international security register but to register it to me I need to pay 21 quid otherwise it'll stay in previous owners name. Now if the car was stolen and then recovered surely they would contact them...they would say they've sold it, isr would then contact dvla who would tell them I own it. So is that a total waste of money or am I being a bit thick?

Total waste of money

If it was stolen police would return it to the last registered owner which would be you or if the insurance has paid out then the insurance company, these registers are something all manufactures do but no one keeps up as they mean nothing, it's a handy way to keep tabs on owners and supposedly helps if the car was stolen and recovered abroad which as are cars are all RHD they don't tend to end up in countries where these schemes apply so again pointless
