Don't think there are any, as long as there's no play in components it's all good.
I don't see why it will be a problem with the new rules but just so you know the new rules only result in a advisory untill next year (gives mot inspectors time to get used to the new stuff) if you get an advisory on them then what I'd do is spay them black (undercoat) or standard colour. then if it fails next year just tell them they are standard.
So the New MOT rules from December will just be an advisory this year and come into full effect next year?![]()

No it doesn't, test stations have the option to put just an advisory if they wish, but can still fail it if they wish also![]()
