How is FK Automotive so cheap!!

Been ordering parts of the site and thinking the prices were converted into Stirling.. so was working on the figures of £60 for springs and £30 for the front struts and £25 for the rear shocks...

Nope, that was Euros!! £48 for the Springs and £40 for the full set of Struts..

£88 in total.. Thats cheaper than going to a scrappys and buying the same parts used

I don't see why it will be a problem with the new rules but just so you know the new rules only result in a advisory untill next year (gives mot inspectors time to get used to the new stuff) if you get an advisory on them then what I'd do is spay them black (undercoat) or standard colour. then if it fails next year just tell them they are standard.

Don't think there are any, as long as there's no play in components it's all good.

shouldnt be any play, its all new components.. what about rubbing? as we discovered at yours, its going to be low, so what if the tyre rubs on full lock?

So the New MOT rules from December will just be an advisory this year and come into full effect next year?

No it doesn't, test stations have the option to put just an advisory if they wish, but can still fail it if they wish also (y)
