Mine is titanium TDCi so cant really comment on any others, but I bought it for same reasons, needed something that will get me about, for minimum costs.
Take a look and have a test drive, reckon you will be surprised tbh. I never saw myself buying anything but the punto evo when I was looking....but never say never.
